Flash Developers work with a team in the creation of complex Flash user-interfaces. Developers work in a collaborative, object oriented environment, where hard work and creative thinking are highly rewarded.

Skills/Requirements:

Experience:

5 years web design experience

Experience with large scale Flash projects, including the use of Action Scripting

Strong background creating and executing creative concepts

Advanced proficiency in vector-based illustration and Photoshop

Advanced Flash animation skills using both timeline and code

In-depth background working with motion graphics is a plus

Gaming and/or character animation knowledge is a plus

Experience Unit Testing, Reviewing and Troubleshooting other developers’ code

Experience with optimizing materials for varying bandwidth and platform requirements

Knowledge/Technical skills:

An expert knowledge of Flash 8/9, Flex 2.0 and ActionScript 2.0/3.0

Strong Object Oriented Programming concepts and analysis

Expert knowledge of ActionScript 2.0/3.0

Knowledge of Flex 1.5/2.0

Strong fundamentals in XML and parsing techniques

Knowledge of or experience using Flash Remoting/Flex data services/Web services

Knowledge of or experience using Flash Media Server

Knowledge of Flash Detection/Embedding techniques, Cross Domain Security, multi browser performance issues.

An understanding of code versioning techniques

Understanding of Object Oriented approach to programming

An understanding of Flash frameworks (or programming frameworks) and experience working within one or more

Abilities

Ability to architect highly scalable Flash based Rich Media Internet Applications using Adobe Suite.

Ability to take direction as part of a team

Ability to follow and adhere coding standards

Ability to work with Producers, Designers and Technical teams to integrate designs into final product.
