Pennsylvania manufacturer of custom mixing and custom molded and extruded rubber parts located near Philadelphia is seeking a hands-on industrial chemist with a four-year or graduate degree in Polymer Science/Chemistry. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years practical experience developing and testing rubber recipes, as well as the mixing of these formulations in mill and internal mixers. Responsibilities include developing and testing formulations from all of the synthetic elastomers, together w/the efficient mixing of compounds made from these recipes, w/little or no scrap. Salary commensurate with experience plus an excellent fringe benefits package. Relocation assistance provided.
