Job Description:
Summary:

This position will be responsible for existing and future business development in Western Tennessee, Eastern Arkansas, and Northern Mississippi focusing on customers such as industrial end users, OEMs and system integrators. Supports the unit by achieving or exceeding assigned individual sales goals. Maintains current knowledge of market conditions and competitors' activities to develop sales plans that achieve or exceed sales goals. Implements an account development plan that optimizes revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty directly or through channel partners. Tracks ongoing business results compared to the plan's established goals and executes corrective action(s) when needed. Initiates / builds / maintains long-term relationships with the appropriate account decision makers directly or through channel partners. Participates in client presentations articulating the value proposition of product / solution / service offerings. Supports the handling of customer complaints and equipment problems.

Education:

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or other related field of study preferred.

Knowledge and Experience:

5+ years of successful sales experience in the industrial or electrical automation field. Must have expereince/knowledge of automation, PLC's, HMI, drives, motion controls, etc. Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and technical skills. This position will be based in the Memphis, TN area.
