DESCRIPTION:

Lead pricing negotiations
Negotiate and execute long term agreements
Develop transaction agreements
Manage supply base
Maintain qualified bidders list and monitor supplier performance
Support development and implementation of effective procurement strategies
Utilize problem solving techniques
Resolve contract issues and disputes
Adhere to GSM procedures and Delphi policies
Complete cost management certification
Focus on cost reduction activities - meet or exceed material performance and departmental goals
Complete timely sourcing to meet customer requirements
Support Delphi diversity initiatives
Support Delphi localization strategies

REQUIREMENTS:

Required - Spanish & English oral and written skills
Required - El Paso, TX or Juarez, Mexico with travel to Juarez daily
Negotiate skillfully with both internal and external groups
Solves problems with effective solutions
Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of external customers and internal clients
Functional and technical knowledge and experience to perform duties with high level of accomplishment
Motivated; self starter; makes major contribution to the success of the department
Uses good judgment in organizing and planning
Maintains good supplier relationships focuses on cost management

EDUCATION:

Bachelors degree required
