Requirements:
Candidate must be able to work full time (on-site) Monday thru Friday from 8AM to 5PM
Must have a four year college degree or Master’s in Taxation or Accounting preferred Must have 6+ years corporate tax experience with large multi-national corporation, public accounting firm or law firm. Public company experience a plus, experience in public tax accounting and international taxes desirableStrong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others Excel skills Microsoft Dynamics AX and Hyperion experience a plus
Job Description:
Responsible for preparation or review of US GAAP tax reporting activities (annual and quarterly), including accounting for federal and state income taxes (FAS 109), FIN 48, FAS 123R and the effective tax rate computations including maintenance of required Book to Tax Basis Balance Sheets. Coordinate with international affiliates to ensure accurate reporting of taxes for foreign affiliates. Responsible for the preparation, review, monitoring and provision of all current and deferred tax accruals (and related valuation allowances), reserves and tax return to provision reconciliations including the appropriate detailed supporting documentation in accordance with FAS 109 and FIN 48. Responsible for the preparation (or review) and reporting on an external and internal basis of all Income Statement and Balance Sheet tax accounts on a quarterly basis. Responsible for the preparation of footnote and disclosure information related to tax for SEC filings. Responsible for the review of the US GAAP tax provisions of international affiliates. Coordination of SOX testing of tax accounts with internal and external auditors. Prepare written and oral technical tax briefings. Assist in the development of worldwide tax minimization strategies and due diligence as required. Develop procedures and practices to improve the efficiency of the tax department. Develop and maintain relationships with various enterprise functions in order to gain compliance, accounting and reporting efficiencies.Location: Columbus, GA Zip: 31902
