A company in Solon, OH has a direct hire opening for a Business Reporting Analyst to join their current IT staff.
The Business Reporting Analyst works to develop reporting solutions to satisfy business information requirements. The Analyst will develop solutions that satisfy client need for high-speed access, multiple views of the same information, accuracy and security, and the sharing of information between systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review, analyze and evaluate business intelligence requirements.
• Design and deploy OLAP cubes, reports and dashboards.
• Maintain and modify existing Cognos cubes and reports.
• Implement and maintain role based security.
• Develop and publish new packages using Framework Manager.
• Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and availability of the BI platform.
• Accurately document program functionality
• Discuss with other team members (analysts and programmers) to check functionality back to systems specifications, and develop solutions as problems or issues arise
• Assist with Database Analysis activities as required.
Essential Skills:
• Advanced technical skills in SQLServer SQL2005 required
• 3-5 years of professional experience using Business Intelligence tools.
• 1+ years of experience with Cognos ReportNet.
• *Strong understanding of Framework Manager.
