CITY: Cincinnati, Erie STATE: Ohio COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities): Develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. Is responsible for work that is less defined in scope and has the understanding and experience to execute business objectives. * Serve as solution architect for the design, build/test and implementation phases of IM projects. * Serve as solution delivery expert for the design and implementation of assigned application areas. * Accountable for operational excellence of assigned program(s), with duties including project reviews, feasibility, cost benefit analysis, prioritization, initiation, execution and closure for all project work related to the program. * Manage budgets and contracts associated with program(s) or initiative(s). * Manage activities of project team resources to support and deliver solutions relating to the program(s). * Maintain effective working relationships with peers and vendors to seamlessly integrate the program area into the overall strategic objectives and activities of the organization. * Coordinate program support activities. * Lead the analysis, requirement development, design, documentation, implementation and maintenance of small to medium IT solutions for business processes. * Support, advise, assist and resolve problems for client leaders and users. * Work as a business partner with clients and users to evaluate/improve business processes. * Ensure conformance to standards and practices. * Prepare and present project plans, status reports and cost/benefit studies. * Keep up to date with enabling technologies and work as a partner to promote their use. * Work as primary interface for TSG teams. * Ensure successful transition of projects to support teams * Identify technology solutions based on detailed requirements. * Research, evaluate and pilot 3rd party solutions. * Work with support and Ready To Serve (RTS) teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues related to architecture. Qualifications/Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering. (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in an IS project management and program planning role) * A minimum of 3 years experience with current information technologies and their implementation into the business function. Desired: * 3 years as an Application Architect, including experience leading and influencing project teams on Oracle and/or ERP Architecture, Design, Testing and Implementation. * Experience working with both centralized and regionalized/localized Oracle and/or Siebel ERP implementations. *Strong knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite (ERP) technology stack - AOL, Application tier, concurrent processing, Oracle database technology. * Base knowledge in one or more areas of technical infrastructure (storage, server, network, client). * Proven analytical and problem resolution skills. * Strong knowledge of J2EE and Web Architecture. * Experience with Unix. (Solaris) * Established project management and organizational abilities. * Experience with Relational Database, Oracle and SQL optimization techniques. * Proven leadership skill in both business planning and information technology. * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. * Quality and cost driven. * Established project management and organizational abilities. * Experience with Enterprise Application Integration and Messaging Architectures. * Experience with standardized industry Development processes.
