ICU Manager position for a Teaching Hospital!

 

Great opportunity to live and work in the San Francisco Bay Area!  Rare opportunity for a Manager of Critical Care Services to work at a Bay Area teaching hospital with a standard for excellence in quality patient care and efficiency.

 

The ICU Manager reports to the Administrative Director and is accountable for all activities related to the 24 -hour clinical and administrative management in the ICU Department and has the responsibility for quality improvement, efficient and effective use of resources and compliance with regulations pertinent to the Critical Care area. Client will consider a Supervisor candidate wanting to step into Management.

 

Position requirements and qualifications:

BS in Nursing or related field.MSN, MHA or MBA is preferred.3+ years of ICU experience is required.2-5 years of progressive management experience is necessary.Current CA RN license.BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification is preferred.

 

Location: San Francisco Bay Area.
