Our client, a prominent energy company, seeks an IC&E Drafter for a long term contract opportunity. The IC&E Drafter is responsible for producing Instrumentation, Control and Electrical (IC&E) and Plant drawings required for supporting business objectives associated with the planning, design, maintenance, and operation of natural gas pipelines and facilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Completes drafting projects related to compressor and meter stations. Creates drawings using various software applications i.e. (AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electric, 3D, etc.) Completes drawings related to the transmission of natural gas in the pipeline industry to include, but not limited to: One Line Diagrams, Interconnect Wiring Diagrams, Motor Schematics, Conduit / Cable Schedules, PLC Design and Documentation Packages, Physical Drawings including Lighting Plans, Power Plans, Conduit Routing Plans, Plot Plans, Piping Detail Drawings and Grounding Plans. Applies various piping and vessel symbols used for drafting applications of natural gas facilities Creates drawings in a 3-D environment and uses CADD Overlay on raster drawings Learns and incorporates terminology and acronyms of the natural gas industry into drawings and related work outputs. Works in a team environment with Project Managers, Design Engineers, and other Drafters in multi-discipline groups. Checks own work prior to review by Drafting Lead. Works in conjunction with CADD drafters under general supervision. Exercises and applies commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the pipeline industry to drafting assignments. Plans, completes, and meets deadlines for assigned tasks and projects which vary in size and complexity.

Qualifications :
In addition to the required experience listed above, advanced Autocad and basic Microsoft Excel are also required.
