OPEN POSITION: Architectural Job Captain / Senior Architectural Drafter

COMPENSATION: $54,000- $64,000/year DOE plus highly competitive employee benefits and bonus program.

 

Sacramento area’s fastest growing Architecture & Planning firm is once again seeking self motivated, personable, and team oriented architectural professionals to aid in our continued success going into the year 2008.

 

At this time we have an immediate opportunity for a full time Architectural Job Captain / Senior Architectural Drafter to work closely with our technical and professional team of Licensed Architects, Designer, & CAD support staff; aiding in the successful completion of design projects from concept to close out.

 

We will be looking for this Architectural Job Captain/ Senior Architectural Drafter to work as the second in command to our Architectural Project Manager assisting in all aspects of project coordination, compliance, and scheduling. Architectural Job Captain duties may include but will not be limited to project consultant coordination, client interaction, supervision and scheduling of CAD production staff, quality assurance and production of architectural construction documents, and project permitting and submittal of plans to local public agencies. This Architectural Job Captain/ Senior Architectural Drafter will be assigned to projects ranging from healthcare, education, civic, to institutional and commercial projects.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Bachelors degree in Architecture (or significant architectural industry work experience)3-10 years of professional architectural industry experienceGood AutoCAD, Architectural Desktop, or Revit SkillsSolid general knowledge and experience in Architectural Design, Construction Document Production, Consultant Coordination, Permitting, Quality Assurance, Construction Administration, ect.                 Prior Architectural project experience pertaining to either commercial, healthcare, education, institutional, or civic projects is preferred.  Have made progress within the IDP process toward the attainment of architectural license.Must be hard working, reliable, punctual, team oriented, and able to thrive within a collaborative team oriented work environment.Candidates with a true passion for the field of architecture are preferred.
