IMMEDIATE OPENING with a leading engineering firm located in San Jose, CA. Client is searching for a SENIOR HVAC ENGINEER to join their team on a direct hire basis. The candidate must have a BSME and 10 years experience working with a consulting engineering firm as an HVAC engineer, PE preferred. The HVAC must be proficient with AutoCAD and must have recent employment experience with an HVAC consulting engineering firm in the construction industry, or with a design-build mechanical contractor. The candidate will assist project management staff with load calculations, equipment selection, Title 24 compliance documentation, sizing and layout of ductwork and piping, and drafting. Must be proficient at coordinating HVAC equipment, ductwork and piping layouts with architectural/structural designs to prevent conflicts during construction.
