Under general direction, manages Solutions Installation delivery teams, typically five to ten teams. Maintains relationships with the Solutions Sales, Program Development Team and Performance Assurance Team. Develops and builds Customer and Subcontractor relationships.
External Relationship:
The Service Installation Manager is actively involved in the local Retrofit community, industry organizations, and face-to-face networking with technical schools, community colleges, and sub-contractors.
Internal Relationships:
Assists the Regional Solutions Operations Manager to effectively plan for future resource needs and assists in allocating resource needs to meet near term commitments. Assists the Regional Solutions Operations Manager in the preparation of the annual financial operating plan for the PC business. Assists the Regional Program Development Manager by engaging Solutions Project Managers in sales support activities early in the audit process to provide input on vendor/partners selection, scope enhancements, value engineering, risk assessment etc.PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Manages the profitable execution of Performance Contracting and Service Major Retrofit projects. Ensures that all assigned projects are done accurately, on-time, billed, within budget and within scope of the contract. Maintains profitability goals and positive cash flow. Hires, retains, performance manages, and plans for career development of direct reports. Prepares and delivers clear performance expectations, performance reviews and development plans for direct reports. Ensures that Project Managers develop and adhere to a Project Execution Plan for each assigned project. Establishes customer touch points throughout the life cycle of projects to gain feedback on customer satisfaction. Coaches' teams on proactively addressing customer feedback. Provides leadership by demonstrating focus on exceeding customers' expectations. Effectively communicates the status of projects to Regional Solutions Operations Manager and Regional Solutions Manager as required and provides monthly forecasts of revenue, costs, and gross margin for the PC execution. Ensures compliance with state, local and federal legal requirements and ensures that retrofit business is conducted with the highest ethical standards. Champions and drives the SSA Safety Program for employees and subcontractors at all levels within the Regional Solutions Installation organization.

Ten or more years of progressively more responsible operations management experience in the Installation Industry including five or more years of direct management experience. Previous sales and/or Account Management experience desired as well as industry networking. High-level competence in written and verbal communication. Strong presentation skills and proficiency in speaking to large audiences. Able to lead and direct diverse teams. Able to travel up to 50% of time.
