Account Manager - Facilities Service Advisor – Government/Education Market
$60 - 70K BASE SALARY PLUS COMMISSION

Hunton Trane Services serves the Existing Buildings market as a fully-integrated service company with turnkey capabilities. We design, build, install, and service building systems to meet the needs of our valued customers in the existing commercial, industrial, institutional and retail markets. We are Trane’s OEM representative in Southeast Texas, providing Authorized Startup and Warranty service. Hunton Trane Services offers quoted HVAC service, customized service agreements, custom fabrication and modification for industrial applications and retrofit projects, as well as more comprehensive solutions, such as turnkey work and performance contracting.

Description:


Reporting to the General Sales Manager, this position is designed to grow share of key Education & Government customers in Southeast Texas territory for all Products and Services represented by the Hunton Group.  The Facilities Service Advisor’s (FSA) success will be found in the ability to tailor and leverage marketing programs to the Education & Government vertical market by:

Understanding the unique HVAC service needs of the marketExecuting customer-facing marketing strategies and plans

 

As a professional sales person, this individual will join a dynamic environment and ideally bring industry-specific knowledge, as well as expertise in services to the Education & Government market customer.  Able to operate at the facilities level, the FSA will provide knowledge and council on industry-specific solution strategies that target facilities managers, maintenance technicians, energy engineers, business managers and key school and government officials.


DUTIES

Responsible for developing long-term customer relationships, maximizing account penetration and customer retention with Education & Government owner accounts.Identify the company’s preferred accounts and prioritize including those that we already have relationships with and those that we don’t. Must meet production goals set by managementResponsible for the account performance and relationshipFollows up on transactions to ensure we are exceeding the customer’s expectationsKeeps abreast of client’s changing organization and has more than one contactInterfaces with other team members, reports to team on activity and progress and interfaces with clientConsistently ascertain customer needs and current market opportunities. Assemble and coordinate acquisition team as needed for customers and projects. Identify potential opportunities with existing customers. Convert leads into opportunities by assigning the appropriate sales process, identifying the required sales team members, and communicating the next steps in the process. Develop and execute an account specific business plan to identify the long term, mutual support requirements required to facilitate a strong, profitable and successful partnership. Provide total account business reports and annual forecasts.Provide quotes for service repairs, change outs, IAQ, controls, plumbing and energy solutions including quotes for fixed price services. Contact responsible parties for purposes of securing renewal of service contracts. Prepare, negotiate, and review agreement/project scope. Present/review proposal and/or contract with all buying influences negotiating scope of agreement/project.Prepare transition documents and communicates project readiness for assignment to operations team.Assists customers in answering technical questions on HVAC systems, Trane Products, and relevant industry issues.Conducts “discovery” meetingsAssists in completing account plans and profilesAssists in developing the team strategy to utilize resources for Total SolutionAfter success of growing share of customer, assist in prioritizing and implementing customer retention and acquisition programs using innovative electronic and face-to-face marketing techniques and practices to deliver campaigns such as TCPN, new product introductions, competitive attack, customer and partner retention and acquisition, cross-sell/up sell, and trade-in programs

EDUCATION:

 

·         Associates degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Marketing or Business preferred with training in consulting, sales and marketing through experience and/or corporate training

 

EXPERIENCE:

 

3-5 years experience in outside sales or marketing either a product or service to this vertical market.

·      Working knowledge of HVAC systems, service agreements, and Microsoft Office products
