Great opportunity for the Human Resources generalist who would enjoy working with non-exempt employees in a fast-paced, multi-shift distribution center. Duties also include staffing of exempt and non-exempt employees. You will ensure compliance with Dollar General Corporation policy and procedures as well as Workers Comp, OSHA and FMLA regulations. Spending time on the floor with the associates, you will be a true generalist and the "go-to" person. This position is for 2nd shift. Thorough knowledge of HR principles and practices. Effective oral and written communication skills. The ability and willingness to understand, communicate, and enforce company policies and procedures and government regulations. Computer skills sufficient to efficiently enter data and run reports from Microsoft Office applications as well as Lawson and KRONOS payroll/personnel systems. Minimum 2 years HR experience plus Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or equivalent experience.
