Due to continued growth and customer demand, an excellent, challenging and hands-on opportunity exists in Atlanta, Georgia for an experienced Human Resources Manager to manage and support generalist human resources activities for a unionized manufacturing facility.

As Human Resources Manager, you will:

·        Lead labor and employee relations activities and provide counsel

·        Manage and execute recruiting, performance management, employee development and succession planning processes

·        Provide strategic HR counsel and drive HR best practices within the plant; evaluate current HR practices and recommend improvements and/or solutions

·        Administer employee benefit and compensation programs and other HR initiatives

·        Work to improve plant safety performance and reduce Workers Comp costs

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field; Master’s Degree desired

·        5-7 years professional experience in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment; Union/Bargaining Unit experience required

·        Excellent communication, presentation, consultation skills; must be self-motivated and a strategic thinker

·        Must possess conflict resolution skills, strong business savvy and HR acumen

·        Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities; effective analytical and problem solving skills
