This company is a leading edge high tech manufacturing organization with growth potential in to many new areas. They are seeking a key team player in a management position that will be responsible for all activities involved with Personnel both plant and office. This position is more about Leadership than Supervision. The company is seeking an experienced manager to guide the leadership team with decisions regarding Human Resources, benefits, employment, safety and employee development and employee relations.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary responsibility will be maintaining and developing objectives, procedures and programs required for effective operation of Human Resource activities. As a leader, you will be involved in all phases of sustaining daily activities including Staffing, benefits administration, documentation, employment law, and employee team building, and establishment of policies and procedures to insure customer satisfaction and promotion of plant productivity. You will seek to improve processes and implement cost reductions. The ideal candidate will exhibit good judgement, strong decision making capability and professionalism and will be qualified for promotion. .
REQUIREMENTS: The Company requires a minimum four-year BS degree and a minimum of five years of related experience in a position of similar responsibility level. Qualified candidates will have a strong background in manufacturing and assembly in a fast paced large manufacturing operation. Plant employment levels are typically 300 individuals. Candidates must be self-motivated with very strong documented experience in Human Resources and have strong team building skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to gain the cooperation and confidence of others are required. The ability to think on your feet and rapidly adjust to changing priorities is necessary. Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire confidence and trust are essential. This opportunity requires a strong team player that is committed to a teamwork environment. Strong documentation skills, reporting skills, and computer skills are required.
DESIRED: Desirable attributes include advanced education and strong related experience with tier #1 automotive supplier operations. Spanish language a plus.
