The North American Division of Labinal consists of four major assembly facilities, one in Pryor, Oklahoma, one in Corinth, Texas and two in Mexico.  The Division also consists of an engineering group in Everett, WA. 

 

The 787 Engineering Program in Everett, WA, is located 20 miles north of Seattle, WA. The Labinal-Corinth Inc. facility in Corinth, Texas, is located less than 25 miles from the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport.  Labinal, Inc. in Pryor, Oklahoma, is located 40 miles east of Tulsa, Oklahoma.  The two facilities in Mexico are located in the city of Chihuahua, Mexico.  Currently the North American Division engineers and manufactures products for companies including Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Bombardier, Airbus, and Dassault. 

 

We currently have an opening for a HR Generalist at the 787 Engineering Program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing guidance to managers and employees on career development, compensation, employee relations issues, interpretation of company policies and procedures, performance management, terminations, EEO related matters, Affirmative Action programs and planning, and state and federal employment laws.

 

Responsibilities

 

The HR Generalist has the following responsibilities:

 

Work with management to determine recruitment needs, source and track candidates, recommend compensation packages based on salary surveys and market competitiveness, and finalize offers;Update job descriptions with management input to ensure that job requirements are aligned to organization needs;Administer the health, life, disability, 401k and Section 125 plans;Responsive to facility needs related to projects and coordinate with inter-department managers and leads to meet goals;Manage Human Resource activities for new hire orientation, personnel status changes, leave of absence, etc.;Participate in the development, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of personnel policies and procedures;Coordinate processes related to payroll ensuring that payroll and time records are submitted timely and accurately;Compile statistical reporting for the department, corporate, and regulatory agencies;Maintain appropriate personnel/benefit files that meet state and federal legal requirements;Perform data entry of personnel/benefits data in the HRIS and time-tracking software;Respond to employment verification requests and unemployment claims.

 

Qualifications

 

This incumbent must have 3-5 years HR experience, and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.  PHR/SPHR certification desirable.  Experience running and analyzing HR reports and data required.  This individual must have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage stress with a positive attitude and high ethical standards in a fast-paced environment.  Flexibility and a strong team player attitude is a must. Requires strong proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio). 

 

It is necessary that this individual be a self-starter and motivated, with strong time management, customer service and organizational skills.  Must demonstrate personal initiative and willingness to perform beyond what is minimally required.  Excellent communication/verbal skills (written and oral) in order to effectively interact and provide problem solution to customers and employees.  Group presentation skills required for delivery of new employee orientations, benefit meetings, etc.  Must be detail-oriented, have strong problem solving ability, creativity and continuous quest for process improvement.  Ability to work effectively with members of management and employees necessary. Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships.
