SunTrust Bank has a current opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Client Consultant/HR Projects and Org Effectiveness. This position is located in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Human Resources (HR) Client Consultant/HR Projects and Org Effectiveness will serve as a client consultant to assignd project teams or business leaders to drive organizational change through the implementation of HR and business initiatives. Responsible for high level, most complex project work and business initiatives for the HR Business Partner team with specific focus on project leadership for the organization. Leads or serves as a member of project teams led by Client Consultants and/or Business Leaders to provide project management expertise and structure to work teams. Prepares business cases for HR-related projects to include financials, overall rationale for change, future state, and success factors for proposed organizational changes. Provide consulting on organizational effectiveness, team performance, executive coaching, and facilitate team effectiveness. May design and complete after-action reports for major projects and initiatives. Projects may be enterprise-wide or LOB/Function specific. May design and/or deliver developmental sessions for other HR Professionals to enhance capabilities of staff. May lead ad-hoc teams on varous projects, ensuring collaboration with appropriate stakeholders.
SunTrust is seeking candidates with a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent experience and a minimum of 4 or more years broad HR experience to include HR consulting, performance coaching, HR project management and employee relations. Experience in leading large, complex projects at an enterprise level. Demonstrated project management expertise, following a project management discipline and balancing multiple priorities. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work with most senior level leaders, providing performance coaching and feedback regarding team and individual effectiveness. Strong MicroSoft Office skills, with specific emphasis on Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills, and ability and willingness to create documents and presentations with limited administrative support.
