Owens Illinois (O-I) is currently looking for a Human Resources / Health & Safety Administrator to join our worldwide team. This position will be based in our Charlotte, MI manufacturing plant, reporting to the Plant Manager with support from the Regional HR Manager.

Responsibilities:

Will ensure the implementation of Human Resource and Health & Safety processes and initiatives throughout the plant. Will be responsible for the evaluation of current processes and practices and making recommendations for improvements. Responsible for all aspects of record keeping for Human Resources / Health & Safety.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. 2 to 5 years of professional experience in Human Resources and Health & Safety in a technological or manufacturing environment. Must be able to a self starter with the ability to learn and apply new skills in a short period of time. Must be organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, and stay focused on a positive outcome. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
