Provides a wide range of Human Resources services to support the business objectives of the Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding facility to which he/she is assigned. Working through the HR functional support team, this position will manage the implementation of HR programs, processes at the site/function, including staffing and retention, compensation, training and development and diversity initiatives and serve as primary focal point for the resolution of employee related issues. The successful candidate must have worked in at least two HR specific disciplines, i.e., Staffing, Compensation previously.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Personnel Management or related. Minimum of ten (10) to fifteen (15) years professional and/or management experience. Ability to exercise sound, independent judgment in providing guidance and conflict resolution with strict adherence to ethics and business conduct policies and company values. Proficiency in computer skills. Knowledgeable of federal, state and local law preferred. The successful candidate must have worked in at least two HR specific disciplines, i.e., Staffing, Compensation previously.
