Description: HR Solutions: Consults with managers to develop and implement effective HR-related solutions that assist in accomplishing business objectives. Proactively assesses organizational needs and opportunities to identify and recommend HR solutions. Anticipates change impacts, implications, barriers and provides expert advice/education on navigating, managing and sustaining the change process. Workforce Analysis: Utilizes data and analysis to identify root causes and proactively identify issues. Develops, analyzes and communicates findings of workforce analysis with business managers to assess and develop HR strategies. Performance Management : Assists managers in assessing next step readiness and potential target roles for key individuals and highly effective performers. Consults with managers on performance strategies for performance improvement process including, development and progressive discipline. Consults with managers to assess individual and team development needs and to establish effective development plans. Consults with managers on employee relations issues including employee conduct. Responsible for day-to-day administration of Human Resources policies and programs covering several or all of the following disciplines: Recruiting and Staffing, Employee Relations, Training, Compensation, Benefits. 1. Provide support to managers on human resources and employee relations issues. 2. Participate in human resources projects, including researching the SBU implications and plans for implementation. 3. Assist managers in sourcing and screening of candidates for non-exempt and entry-level exempt positions; provide basic orientation. 4. Provide support to managers in assigned departments on employee relations issues; may involve the Legal Department as necessary. 5. Provide support to managers in assigned departments on compensation-related issues including annual common review process, reward and recognition programs and incentive plan administration. 6. Research and provides input to human resources policy and program development. 7. Collaborate with Corporate Human Resources on the implementation of HR program changes. Qualifications: Qualifications: - Advanced knowledge of Human Resources discipline and general understanding of other HR disciplines. - A Bachelors degree or equivalent and a minimum of 3-5 years in an HR Generalist role. - Ability to work with senior managers in various Strategic Business Units (SBUs).
