We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual for the position of Process Engineer in El Dorado, AR reporting to the HR Manager, this position is responsible for providing generalist support to 200-300 plant employees in El Dorado, Arkansas. In addition, has leadership responsibility and accountability for HR functional areas – Organization Development, Staffing, Positive Employee Relations, compensation, benefits, communication, Policy and Process Implementation. The generalist will have full accountability for all HR practice implementation for a defined client group. This includes for ensuring that Human Resource practices and programs are value-added in the areas of employee relations, compensation, benefits, communications, staffing, organization development and training.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead staffing and developing for client groups.
· Provide leadership and support to client group with compensation and promoting positive employee relation.
· Providing supervisory skill building opportunities and coaching to develop management staff.
· Facilitate change management.
· Act as a member of Unit Leadership Teams.
· Lead the Chemtura Performance Ownership Process (CPOP) - Talent Pool & Succession Planning process.
· Coach and develop Unit Managers and their teams.
· Lead the deployment of employee development and learning actions.
· Report, manage and control operations census.
· Manage employee relation issues that develop in the work force.
· Develop a systemic method of assessing the employee relations climate and addressing employee issues.
· Assess organization functioning and develop plans to drive improvement.
· Manage the employee development plan
Qualifications include:
· BS with emphasis in HR.
· Five (5) + years HR experience within manufacturing.
· Strong assessment skills.
· Strong business and financial skills.
· Positive employee relations experience.
· Excellent communications skills – with experience communicating at all levels.
· Six Sigma certification or experience a plus.
