Pulitzer Prize winner, Publishing Company, has a unique position for an innovative individual to join the HR team to provide high quality human resources services in furtherance of the organization’s mission. We are in search of an HR professional who can work and play well with our hard-working and fun-loving HR team. We are a customer focused HR department intent upon providing excellence in the delivery of human resources initiatives as we partner with the business. The ideal candidate should have broad-based, hands-on knowledge of HR with experience in developing and implementing HR policies and company-wide programs. The successful candidate must be able to develop, improve and streamline HR practices, identify legal requirements and government compliance and risk areas, and finally assist, counsel and advising management across a myriad of areas. All candidates must demonstrate how they keep current about trends and practices in the HR field.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of progressive generalist experience in Human Resources, of which a minimum of 3 years must be recent experience as an HR manager. BA/BS degree required. Must have well-developed communication and management skills to deal with all levels of staff. Ability to hit the ground running and thrive in a multi-tasking, fast paced environment while possessing a can-do attitude.
80-85K plus bonus Excellent benefits/Summer Hours
