Human Resources Coordinator - San Jose, CA

We are seeking a high energy, self motivated, experienced HR Coordinator to provide Personnel and Payroll support. This is a fun and challenging position with variety and lots of interaction with management, employees, residents and guests.

Coordinate interviews and new hire process including drug test and background checks Assist with Employee Recognition and training Manage KRONOS Timekeeper payroll process including editing of KRONOS punches for management approval and running KRONOS reports Process all employee status changes Initial employee contact for payroll/benefit questions; refer to Payroll or Benefits Managers as needed Maintain file system including personnel files, payroll files and vendor files Provide HR administrative support:maintain employee uniforms and personnel supplies maintain and reconcile petty cash box prepare correspondence, notices and announcements regarding employee activities and programs
We Require: High School diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2-years Human Resources and office support experience Minimum 1-year payroll/time clock experience preferred PC skills with knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook or similar programs KRONOS Timekeeper software or similar system highly preferred Excellent Customer Service and Telephone skills Proficient reading, comprehension, writing, and mathematical ability Proficient keyboard and data entry skills Ability to deal with confidential information Proven organizational and communication skills
