Our Minneapolis location, with facilities in Golden Valley and Brooklyn Park, MN employs 400 employees.  We currently have an immediate opening for a Human Resources Assistant at our Golden Valley facility.  Consider our position if you are looking to further your career in Human Resources and make a difference in our company as you work with an energized team of dedicated professionals throughout the LDI organization. 

Responsibilities for this position will include processing employee records, benefits enrollment, compensation records, applications, and EEO/AA records; entering and maintaining data from confidential employee records in HRIS; administering periodic performance management and compensation reviews for production employees; generating and distributing standard reports from HRIS; being the first point of contact for employee questions/ requests; providing general administrative support for the HR department; processing paperwork for FMLA, leaves of absence, short-term disability claims, and COBRA.

Required Skills & Experience:

·        Human Resources principles and concepts

·        Office systems software- Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

·        HRIS system- JDEdwards/ Peoplesoft experience preferred

·        OSHA/ Worker’s Compensation experience preferred

·        Organization

·        Balance multiple priorities

·        Basic problem solving

·        Verification

·        Employee relations

·        Business/ technical school or equivalent experience

·        Minimum of 1-2 years HR related experience- manufacturing environment preferred
