Position Summary: The HR Administrator is a member of the Food & Beverage HR function supporting human resources-related activities in one or more Manufacturing and/or Sales Zones. This individual will support the plant staff and/or sales staff with HR administrative duties for the business. The HR Administrator will perform various administrative tasks including: preparing and distributing reports; handling correspondence; handling new hire paper work and offer letters; preparing presentations and updating and maintaining databases.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the plant and/or sales zone in recruiting and staffing process Requisition process form completion and approvals Post jobs internally Manage hourly job bid process Hourly resume receipt screening disposition Salaried resume receipt and distribution Scheduling Pre or Post employment testing Maintain applicant flow log and appropriate filing Completing job offer letter Extend verbal offer to hourly employees Administration of new hire process Distribute and collect new hire paper work Maintain I-9 forms Create and maintain personnel file Complete and secure approvals for relocation authorization
Employee Relations Administer EOS Coordinate company events, e.g. wellness fair, picnics, and holiday events Publish new letters Maintain company bulletin boards, including government required postings
Data Maintenance and Reporting Benefits eligibility tracking Safety or other compliance training tracking and scheduling Maintain and schedule audio metric, pulmonary function, and vision testing, etc., and maintain appropriate files Attendance tracking Maintain FMLA Paperwork/logs, STD/LTD, LOA Maintain accurate SAP employee data Maintain records and issue employee I.D./access card
General administrative duties Respond to unemployment claims Issue restricted duties offer letters Maintain necessary files for workers compensation Maintain organizational charts Calculate STD payments Maintain garnishment paperwork Collect benefit premiums from employees on LOA Process invoice for payment Administer RIF/layoffs and bumping procedures Maintain appropriate files for contingent labor General clerical duties such as misc., reports and presentations
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Business school or college preferred. Position requires minimum 2-3 years of previous administrative experience. Human resources experience preferred. Must posses typing speed of 50 w.p.m, accuracy and attention to detail Demonstrated competence in Microsoft Office Suite applications, Web-based recruiting and HRIS systems such as SAP or PeopleSoft. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. A thorough knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling is needed. An Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer
