JOB TITLE - HR Operations Specialist
 
Overview: 
 
Reporting directly to the Manager of the HR Operations team, providing a focus on HR Operations; part of the team that develops robust processes, consistent policies across the regions and ensuring accurate data is held on the HR, with a specialized focus on HR systems.
 
Key areas of responsibility for this individual will include:
Act as PeopleSoft super user for Guy Carpenter and assist in the upgrade of the PeopleSoft system Ongoing responsibility for overall maintenance and continuing support of all HR systems Assist in implementation of HR technology for use in core HR processes (e.g. time and attendance, recruitment, payroll, HRIS) as necessary Conduct periodic auditing and cleansing of internal processes and information held on PeopleSoft Participate in global projects as and when required to enhance and improve the capability of PeopleSoft Working with other HR Operations colleagues to identify opportunities for process improvement delivered through technology either within existing systems or via emerging technologies Assist in the review, development and implementation of consistent global polices and processes in areas such as global mobility and recruitment Interact with other HR colleagues and business managers to ensure that the appropriate processes are followed in areas such as on-boarding, internal moves and exit management Ensure applicable polices and governance requirements are met (such hire requests and off-cycle awards) Work to continue establishing capabilities to increase the overall accuracy and integrity of our HR information Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal clients to ensure continued successful cooperation Act as on site point of contact for outsourced providers (HR Shared Services, Global Mobility) in relation to day to day issues Develop as necessary and maintain the internal GC HR Portal Represent Guy Carpenter on various MMC HR Operations projects Working as part of the HR Operations team, work with the other Centers of Excellence and the HR Business Partners in order to deliver major HR projects


At least 2 years of HR experience providing best practice tools and processes A basic understanding of employment law and HR best practice would be advantageous A good working knowledge of HR systems including PeopleSoft Good Microsoft  Office skills, including Access Strong interpersonal skills Communicate verbally and in writing in an open and honest style Strong attention to detail Team player Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required, major in HR, Management or Finance preferred
