TITLE:   Human Resources Manager, Alliance, NE

 

Overview:  This position reports to the HR Director of Train Life Services, US (TLS).  Collaborates with North America Competency Centers (Comp & Benefits, Training & Development).  Collaborates and actively supports Management of Alliance NR site.  Internal customers:  TLS US Employees, Team Managers.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Actively support the turnaround of the BNSF Project.Actively support growth opportunity for TLS USManage HR clerical staff responsible assisting with key functions,Respond to employee questions, concerns, etc.,Manage HR programs/practices complement to enhance the achievement of long term strategic business objectives,Aid and assist in the development and administration of HR policies, procedures, guidelines and operating and measurement systems,Insure compliance with all state and federal employment related statutes such as EEOC, non-discrimination, record keeping, etc.,Enhance the Company's local reputation and maintain positive community ties by participating and supporting relevant community and/or professional organizations,Assist with the development and administration of employee reward and recognition systems,Aid and support the establishment and maintenance of corporate continuous improvement and best practice approaches to assigned HR functional areas and to overall business management processes,Provide input and assist Director of HR in planning guidance and execution strategies to reinforce and maintain a positive corporate culture in accordance with corporate standards,Assist with the development of strategies and approaches to maintain a flexible workforce accepting of change,Provide pro-active input and recommendations for developing effective strategies and action plans for cost effective, value added improvements for functional HR areas, (benefits, training and development, etc.),Manage the HR processes related to specific functional areas within HR as required/assigned,

·         Ensure full compliance with ALSTOM EHS Policy for all TLS US Sites,

ALPS Data governance,Actively coach managers in good people management practice,Any and all other responsibilities, in addition to those mentioned above, as assigned by supervisor/manager. Any interpretation/clarification with responsibilities above will be settled by the supervisor/manager. Skills / Requirements:

 

·         Master Degree in Human Resources,

·         3 years as HR Generalist,

·         Able to work in an International and multicultural environment,

·         Knowledge of labour law,

·         Good computer, communication, reading/writing skills,

·         Resilient and able to deliver in a demanding and changing environment,

·         Good planning and organization skills,

·         Awareness of people and HR sensitivities,

·         Flexible, open minded, fair & balanced judgement.
