REQUIREMENTS: Acts as the initial point of contact and central hub for business partnering between the Human Resources Departments and Managers within the Finance/Controlling department. This function will help improve the understanding of business needs as well as strategic, operational and administrative Human Resources Management and Services in order to meet all present and future demands. Works closely with the OpCom member and management team in the Finance organization to understand and review all existing and future requests regarding Human Resources issues. Works to resolve issues, both on-going and ad hoc. Develops in depth understanding of business needs and related actions e.g. Development of capabilities and headcount, intended Organizational Changes, planned Placements and Promotions, etc. Works closely and collaboratively with all HR functions (Benefits, Compensation/Organization, Executive Management Development/Training, Labor Relations, etc.). Participates in the design of solutions as requested and support of roll-out of measures for the Finance area in all needed operational and administrative matters. Advises and influences management on all aspects of people-management and leadership. Focuses on performance management, organizational development & effectiveness, and management effectiveness. Provides HR support, consultation and counsel to management regarding employment law, performance management, HR practices, and Company policies. Identifies and develops solutions for trends in employee relations. Administers the company’s human resources policies. Works to ensure compliance to policies as well as adherence to processes and procedures. Handles day to day employee relations issues. Communicates compensation plans and policies to management team and implementation of all major rewards programs such as salary increases and bonus programs. Supports strategic and operational direction by advising on the impact and effect of organizational change, anticipate management needs, and develop recommendations to support successful implementation of business decisions. Manages or participates in both HR and company short and long term projects. Consults with and establishes strong relationships with business units to understand their unique business needs. Develops and implements proactive, value-added HR activities in support of these needs. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources management, or related field (Masters Degree preferred). At least 6 years of HR or related experience including at least 2 yrs. of broad-based functional field or HR (employee relations, recruiting, performance management) experience required. 2-4 years project management, lead or supervisory experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Experience working in a manufacturing company preferred.
