HOUSE SUPERVISOR

Reports to:  House Manager

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED or experience in a similar setting.Ability to commuicate and set limits with clients and model appropriate boundaries.Ability to exercise independent judgement and work flexible hours of on call.If assigned/approved as a company driver, must have a current driver's license, with a satisfactory driving record through the company insurance carrier.Must be able to model positive example for residents by following all rules and regulations of programs used in treatment process.

Responsibilities:  Supervise residents in a structured living environment.  To implement a positive environment within the facility to aid the individual resident in maintaining sobriety through enforcement of established policies and procedures of the house.  Must attend all training assigned and required by the contractor of the program.

Major Functions:

Conducts frequent periodic checks of clients and makes appropriate log entries.Responds to any crisis or other unusual event to ensure clients physical safetyPromptly notifies House Manager or Executive Director of unusual or hazardous occurrences.Communicates client behavior/interaction with counseling staff and Program Coordinator.Keeps client tracking log current and timely.Assists with client orientation, filing, copying, answering phones, and other clerical duties as assigned.Responsible for documentation that resident medication is administered properly and that accurate inventory is kept of all medications.Presents prepared material as requested by Executive Director or Clinical Program Coordinator.Assists in various housekeeping activities.Follows all safety and security rules and requirements.Attends all required training sessions and staff meetings as scheduled by Manager or Director.Drivers must have approval through the company auto insurance carrier, be assigned by their Manager or Director for that duty, and listed on Company drivers list.Perform urine analysis tests on clients as needed.Other tasks that may be assigned by Manager.
