Looking for an exciting, fast paced and ever changing challenge in the Hospitality Industry?  Travel Advantage Network is a growing Maryland based company responsible for the successful operation of 7 resorts with the expectation that we will add a minimum of ten additional resorts within the next two years.

We are seeking a dynamic individual for the full time live-in position of Resort GM to manage a 26 room independent hotel on Cape Cod in West Dennis, MA.  As an option we will consider a couple as a management team.  The property’s remarkable location is near the beach, has a private back yard and pool area.  The hotel will undergo a complete renovation within 6 months and has great potential for development.  It is quite unique with enormous possibilities for a true boutique experience.  We expect to operate the facility on a year round basis.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

·          Prior hotel experience is required

·          Experience in front office and housekeeping is required

·          Experience with property renovation and with contractors is necessary

·          Having common sense and mechanical/electrical/plumbing understanding us a big plus

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

·          Familiarity with computers is required, knowledge of yield management is essential

·          Prior experience as a manger or supervisor of employees in the hotel business is necessary

·          A College degree is preferred.

·          Will be operating and renovating at the same time, so a little vision, a lot of energy and a good sense of humor is pretty important! 

The ideal candidate will need to be extremely hands on, enjoy interacting with guests, capable of creating and operating a warm and comfortable environment and yet driven by maximizing revenues and the bottom line.  You should be a self-starter who enjoys operating independently, capable of managing all aspects of a hotel operation and experienced in hospitality.
