Hotel / Hospitality - Director of Sales and Marketing

Thompson Technologies has an immediate need for a Hotel / Hospitality Director of Sales and Marketing for a hotel in the Richmond, VA area,  In this role you will manage 2 “Group Managers” and the Director of Catering.  You will be part of the Hotel Executive Team in this position along with the General Manager, Controller, Director of HR and Director of Sales.

We are looking for someone who can drive increased sales of catering, room rental services, from the sales process and pros[pecting, through delivery of services / rentals.     The Director of Sales will need to make a lot of outside sales calls and must have the ability to “make contacts”.   Candidate must have a proactive approach to Hospitality Sales in order to be considered for this position.  Competitive Base + Quarterly Bonuses are offerred for this role.
