OneLegacy, a donate life organization, has an immediate career opportunity for a Hospital Services Coordinator (HSC) - Full-time. The HSC will function as “rolling office” staff covering Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.
Responsibilities include representing OneLegacy in assigned hospitals to offer OneLegacy’s services to hospital, staff, families, and community with the goal of gaining hospital support and ownership of organ and tissue donation; facilitating the provision of family support services and increasing conversion of potential donors; and ensuring excellent relationships are fostered between OneLegacy and the hospital at all levels and within all disciplines.
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university. Must have experience in presenting information to upper management, physicians/nurses, public groups, boards of directors, and committees. Experience in assessing challenging organizational and personal impediments; analyzing and interpreting data, solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form; and designing concepts and organizing effectively to motivate others through creative and critical thinking skills.
A current state driver’s license, auto insurance based on state minimal insurance coverage standards and reliable automotive transportation is required. Candidates must also be able to successfully pass the background screening process.
