The Pharmacy department at the Aurora Medical Center-Two Rivers works collaboratively with physicians, nurses and other health care professionals to provide exceptional care to the patients and families we serve. Our community hospital opened in 2000 and offers a unique environment that supports holistic care. Our state-of-the-art pharmacy is expanding our services and seeks a full time pharmacist to join our team.

Imagine yourself -

Partnering with our physicians, acting as a mentor and educator to our other pharmacy staff, and being a strong resource.

Reviewing, evaluating, and consulting with your patients and other health care providers on issues relating to any drug related issue.

Reviewing and interpreting medication histories in order to make recommendations regarding drug therapy, drug dosing, or the process of drug delivery. As well as recommending the most clinically effective and cost effective drug therapy.

Accurately preparing and checking medication doses by using appropriate compounding, packaging, and labeling practices.

Providing leadership for the operation of the pharmacy in the absence of the supervisor, and possibly providing orientation and training to new pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

Ensuring that the medication needs of patients are met throughout the continuum of care.

General Qualifications
A pharmacy degree from an approved school of pharmacy.

Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in the State if Wisconsin.

Completion of internship (with emphasis on institutional practice preferred).

Desired Qualifications
An advanced clinical degree or clinical residency or two years of institutional practice preferred.
