Role: Provider Network Operations Business Consultant Location: Louisville, KY Are you a fit? Are you a self-starter and an analytical thinker? Assignment Capsule As a business consultant you will: serve as a subject matter expert lead on special projects, providing timely and accurate analysis, design and testing coordination, and documentation of complex business tasks and processes. You will also develop schedules and plans for the coordination and management of resources to establish more efficient business operations. Role Essentials Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related fields Progressive experience in the health service industry, healthcare finance or healthcare related consulting 1 or 2 years experience auditing hospital credit balances in a hospital setting Knowledge of hospital contracting, medical claims processing and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) products Role Desirables Prior experience working with credit balance vendors in the hospitals business office Reporting Relationships You will report to a PNO Manager. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Operating Officer. This position will work with Humana's credit balance vendors to ensure established processes are efficient and meet the needs of Humana, vendors and facilities. Position will perform credit balance audits on behalf of Humana when needed. Position will work with Humana provider contractors to help gain access for Humana vendors to perform credit balance audits
