HOSPITAL COST ANALYST

Are you an experienced cost analyst who understands the difference your skills can make in a dynamic healthcare environment? We are seeking a professional with strong communication skills and a strategic focus to help our departments make informed financial decisions.

Akron General Medical Center is a 537-Bed Level I Trauma Hospital, highly acclaimed for its healthcare programs. Our dedicated professionals are committed to excellence in patient care as demonstrated by a willingness to continually assess, evaluate and improve.

Working with department directors and hospital management, this position is responsible for costing, benchmarking, data collection and preparation of governmental cost reports. Attention to detail and ability to effectively interact with budget managers is essential. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance required. Demonstrated ability to write, implement and monitor cost accounting procedures. Proficiency in database software. Experience with AVEGA ADS a plus.
