Stone County Hospital (SCH) is a Critical Access Hospital located in Wiggins, MS. The hospital supports two rural health clinics, one on campus in Wiggins and a second located in Poplarville, MS.
SCH is seeking qualified applicants for Administrator.
The Administrator manages and provides direction to SCH toward its primary objectives based on profit and return of capital by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers accountable to the Management Company.
Ideal candidate will have a career history of growth of programs, services, successful recruitment of physician’s/practitioner’s while meeting and/or exceeding overall goals for campus operations.Implements programs to improve community access to care.Promotes financial success of the organization.Fulfills professional role as leader of the healthcare facility.Establishes long range objectives, plans and policies, subject to the approval of the Chief Executive Officer.
This position requires a four year degree in hospital administration or related field and a minimum five years of experience, preferably in a CAH setting. Applicants with other types of degrees, including clinical, with a combination of hospital administration experience may also be considered for this position.
