Implementation Specialist ? Cardiology Information Systems Travel: 75% Location: Remote - East If you are looking for a career in a dynamic and challenging environment in the field of Medical Imaging and Information Systems, McKesson needs you. McKesson is a leader in the field of Cardiac Imaging and Information Systems in Cardiology Departments. McKesson has an extensive experience in developing, installing and servicing network and telecardiology sites. Our solutions are implemented in leading cardiac centers across the US, Europe, South America and Asia. Responsibilities: * Work closely with customers to benchmark, design, plan and implement optimal CIS (Cardiology Information Systems) solutions. * Plan, coordinate and perform interfaces in the medical environment using HL7 and XML standards * Resolve technical problems, analyze and evaluate issues that may occur during implementation * Test, benchmark, and verify that the implemented system is error free and functional prior to delivery to the customer Skills and Qualifications: * AS/BA/BS in Computer Science (or equivalent) or trade school + comprehensive MCSE certifications are highly desirable. * Requires 2+ years of implementing Clinical Information Systems, preferably imaging and/or cardiac information systems (or related) experience. * Requires experience with a relational databases environment. * Requires experience with Windows based applications such as Word, Excel, and MS SQL 2000. * Experience with Medical Information standards (HL7, XML or DICOM) and Medical Information Systems is a definite advantage. * Experience with MS BizTalk is definite an advantage. Requires 75% domestic overnight travel to installation sites.
