Honda dealership hiring for our fast-track sales to management trainee program. No previous automobile sales experience -- and no sales experience of any kind -- is needed for this position. We will train the chosen candidate(s) in-house.
Honda sales involves low-pressure selling techniques and caring for your customers' needs. Our base pay and commission pay plan reflects this. You will never feel pressured to put your short term need for a commission over your long term need to serve your Honda guest with the best possible service.

Requirements
Positions require a valid driver's license and candidates must pass a pre-hire drug screening. Dealerships selling performance, luxury or exotic cars may require a better driving record than other positions. Some retailers offer fast-track programs for inside and outside top gun sales pros to graduate from entry level selling positions into more advanced career positions. We require no experience. In fact, many of our most successfully placed candidates were veterans from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines or Coast Guard. Their military background can be a great asset in selling automobiles because of their discipline and confidence. Many applicants come to us from the restaurant, banking, real estate, mortgage, apartment rentals, appraisal, property management, accounting, manufacturing, merchandising, fitness, computer or government industry or industries. Some were recent college graduates, and some are high school grads. Some of our most successful candidates had experience selling insurance, appliances, electronics, transportation services, furniture rental, gym memberships, RV’s, motorcycles or food, on the retail level or by appointment or door-to-door. Degrees in marketing and advertising are less common among our placements than degrees in journalism, psychology, sciences, teaching, humanities, education and writing. Some have certificates in technology, data entry, nursing or CNA programs, and some have been recent Job Corp graduates.
