Home Loan Consultant Primary Responsibilities Include: · Consulting potential Borrowers regarding appropriate loan programs and processes · Assisting in preparing and participating in Real Estate Professional/Broker/Builder functions—including Open Houses and Conventions · Creating and executing a Business Development Plan · Accepting Loan Applications and entering into system · Obtaining Credit Documentation, Disclosures and other Forms in accordance with regulatory and Countrywide guidelines · Setting-up Loan Files · Forwarding Loan Files for further processing · Initiating and maintaining contact with Brokers, Real Estate Professionals, Selling Agents, etc. within the locality to inform them of loan products and other services offered by Countrywide A Successful Candidate Will Have: · 2+ years experience originating Residential Loan Applications · Knowledge of the Real Estate Professional/Builder segment of the Mortgage industry · Comprehensive, working knowledge of HELOCs and Fixed Seconds · Knowledge of local Real-Estate community · Proven ability to generate a minimum of 4 to 6 Fundings per month · Comprehensive, working knowledge of Pre-Qualification principles and practices The Ideal Candidate May Also Possess: · College degree Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
