Sears technicians diagnose and repair all kitchen and laundry appliances including washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, and garbage disposals while providing superior service in customers homes. Sears technicians are the best equipped in the industry---you will be provided a Sears van, laptop computer, and all the tools needed to do the job! In fact, Sears technicians travel directly to their first call from home each morning. We have a computer-generated routing system that enables us to maximize customer satisfaction.
Qualifications Are you mechanically inclined? Do you like to meet people and sell things? Diagnoses the problem and gives the customer an estimate of the cost of repair. Completes the repair, if given approval by the customer. Uses appropriate tools and equipment in completing repairs. Courteously and accurately answers customers questions regarding repair and charge procedures. Advises customers of all promotions. Accurately records all transactions via laptop computer. Handles credit charges, checks and cash in accordance with Sears company policy. Uses appropriate security and safety procedures to protect company and customer assets. Accountable for parts inventory in the truck assigned. Accountable for tool inventory assigned. Drives safely and keeps vehicle clean. Manages time effectively. Explains needed repair fully to customer. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Sells preventative maintenance product extensions and maintenance agreements to customer. Bonus compensation programs available! Some of our Northwest area technicians are making $1-$4K additional per quarter! Universal EPA CFC certification preferred, but not required. Electrical background a must. Valid drivers license with good driving record. Minimum 1 year appliance repair experience preferred.
