Histopathology Technologist

Washington, DC - Full-Time

What you'll be doing:

Preparing the routine H&E and special stains necessary for the microscopic diagnosis of surgical specimens Assisting in the surgical pathology grossing area Participating in the general maintenance of the histopathology lab

Requirements:

Completion of an ASCP Histotechnologist program or the equivalent in on-the-job training 2 years experience in an acute care facility High degree of technical competence and knowledge of all histological techniques One year of patient care experience in an acute care setting is preferred
