Exciting Sales Manager Opportunity! Would you like the opportunity to manage a winning sales team? Our Sales Manager effectively coordinates the distribution of company products through the independent agency distribution channel. Must be able to handle and critically assess multiple staff functions. Interact with multiple levels of company employees outside the sales area. Engage with various levels of industry personnel outside of the company.
Knowledge & Skills: A college degree or equivalent experience attained through work experience is preferred; minimum 5 years insurance sales management background or comparable sales/marketing experience is preferred. Extensive knowledge of insurance operations: claims, coverages, products, pricing, and underwriting are preferable to effectively communicate. A very strong comfort level of interpreting statistical data from company reports is also necessary.
Other skills needed include: Effectively build strategic working relationships within the company and work with other departments to resolve issues. This person should demonstrate excellent time/priority management skills and be a logical problem solver. Successfully coach the sales team in the building, executing, and measuring the performance of sales plans for each product/state combination. This individual must be flexible in nature and a highly motivated self-starter. An advanced ability of PC Operations required. This person is responsible for recruitment of new Territory Sales Managers for the development of existing staff, and for developing a team that consistently meets team goals.
