We are looking for someone to provide financial leadership for a Global Business Unit with at least $220M in Annual Net Revenue, This would include oversight of a direct staff of 3, to complete all short- and long-range financial planning processes, participate in monthly/quarterly/year-end close processes, analysis of results and preparation of management reporting and presentations.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Oversight of capital investment process, unit cost analysis to support pricing decisions, business modeling, valuation analyses of acquisition candidates and other strategic alliances.
• Provide leadership in evaluation of financial performance to support business decisions. Ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Deploy globally consistent financial tools to accelerate business performance, effective usage of Hyperion tool to create and utilize common reporting templates across the businesses and regions.
• Support, as needed, requirements of a public company, including audits, external filings, and special assignments.
• Provide direct supervision for three finance professionals, and global leadership for the larger finance and business organization. Strong communication skills (written, spoken and presentation). Interact with multiple functions (management, engineering, marketing, purchasing, etc.) and regions (China, Japan, Mexico, Europe, etc). Leadership skills: ability to influence others without having direct supervisory responsibilities.
• Meet all forecasting/close requirements. Success will include development of process improvements, global leadership in supporting consistency and business decisions, ability to promptly respond to ad hoc management requests.
Education / Experience:
• BS Accounting / Finance, MBA preferred.
• 5 – 8 years experience in finance management role required.
• Proficiency in Excel, knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion a plus.
• Some international travel may be required (about 10%).
