Heavy Civil Construction Project Manager

We are a heavy civil construction contractor in South Dakota that offers our customers creative building solutions by providing quality projects on time and within budget.  Due to both recent growth and changes within the firm, we are searching for an ambitious, hard working Project Manager who can oversee a project from inception to completion, as well as can oversee multiple projects simultaneously.  Because of the urgency of this position, we are searching for qualified applicants now!  If you have the skills and desire to obtain a challenging position, as well as want to work for one of the larger GCs in the area that also performs work outside of the state, please contact us today!

Job Duties:

Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the owners, architects, and subcontractors Provide direction and management for the field superintendents, project engineers, and project managers Evaluate and hire subcontractors Create and manage project schedules and budgets Run project meetings and generate job progress reports Ensure that the projects are completed on time and within budget

Job Requirements:

4+ years of proven heavy civil construction project management experience Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering Must be able to oversee multiple projects simultaneously Excellent computer software knowledge with: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Timberline, Primavera, and Suretrak software programs Applicants must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills Must have good time management skills Candidates must have strong attention-to-detail skills Must be able to travel to the project sites 

Salary:

Competitive, dependent on experience
