Utah Navajo Health System, Inc. (UNHS) is a 4 site ambulatory clinic and 1 hospital healthcare system located near Blanding, Utah.

This position will be primarily responsible for managing and administering all aspects of UNHS’ electronic medical records (EMR) system.  The successful candidate must have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding regarding: EMR systems, databasing software and tools, SQL, MS Access, Crystal Reports, and other data capture and retrieval systems and methodologies.  The ideal candidate will also possess significant computer/software programming knowledge and abilities in order to manipulate database and/or EMR data capture and retrieval systems.  UNHS utilizes NextGen as its primary EMR system.  Experience with NextGen will be a plus.

Also, this position will serve in the capacity of training all necessary UNHS staff—especially medical practitioners—on the proper use of UNHS’ EMR system (NextGen).  As such, the successful candidate should be able to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization and should have the ability to be patient while training others.
