Vaco Technology in Nashville, TN has an immediate permanent opening for a Healthcare Business Analyst. Ideal candidates should meet the following requirements: Primary Duties and Responsibilities Working closely with Professional Services staff and project managers, interacts with Client s administrative, medical staff, IT department, clinical department representatives and leadership to ensure successful outcome of deliverables. Provide data request support, running and troubleshooting benchmark data runs Defines, creates, automates and maintains Client reporting, working with hospital data (review, cleansing, managing) providing internalized support to ensure sustainable results and deliverables validation. Synchronizes a close working relationship with Client IT and Professional Services team, answering technical questions and assisting with technical data interpretation and clarification; developing at a technical level, data needs, tool and database builds, user guides report formats etc. Provides from a technical level, maintenance of current and future SharePoint application(s) and sites as well as building additional sites and capabilities within these SharePoint application(s). Works with the Professional Services Team to provide input to ongoing development of knowledge management systems and capabilities. Provides Professional Services Team and Client(s) with project progress documentation, savings target tracking and validation and gathers, analyzes and displays data and statistics graphically to illustrate trends. Support Professional Service Team with Technical Infrastructure Needs including operational responsibilities for running/maintaining Time & Billing reporting tool and Balanced Scorecard. Provide technical support and input to the development, enhancement and maintenance of benchmarking databases and systems, analytic processes, and data analysis and reporting processes for Professional services solutions and system support Interacts with Professional Services Team and ABC resources to ensure the most appropriate use of associated infrastructure tools and processes. Conducts investigations on root cause of issues identified through data collection and analysis. Experience and Education Requirements Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor s degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education with preference for strong computer sciences, clinical and operational informatics education background. MHA or MBA preferred with direct experience with Solucient Information system and SharePoint applications. Requires one (1) to two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible consulting experience. Prefer healthcare and/or supply chain management related experience utilizing technical tools, database analysis and reporting vehicles. Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements Strong understanding and ability to perform research, analysis and interpretation revolving around data collection, data file building and reporting Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, including technical writing skills Good analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills Excellent presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite, Visio and MS Project.
