About the Company
* The Health Services Manager takes responsibility for ensuring that Clinical Supervisors, Health Coaches, and Care Coordinators responsibly provide comprehensive services and supports;
* Supervises and problem-solves with staff on clinical and contract-specific issues;
* Recruits, trains, evaluates and delegates work; and works closely with management team;
* The Health Services Manager, through the staff, monitors ongoing disease management and case management plans with consumers and providers;
* Ensures that Health Coaches and Care Coordinators are trained in areas for which they are hired and maintains adequate clinical staffing ratios;
* In addition, the Health services Manager, assisted by the Medical Director, will take the lead in assisting the governmental client with development and ongoing refinement of screening tools and procedures used by providers, State agencies and APS.
Qualifications
Required
Experience relaying sensitive information to appropriate parties. Keeps clients, superiors, peers, and direct reports updated based on their information needs.
Encourages open communication by listening attentively and actively. Seeks to fully understand information from many points of view.
Promotes team spirit and works collaboratively with others in the medical team.
Skilled at supervising work for a team of individuals with differing levels of skill to enable them to achieve performance and quality standards.
Combines judgment, extensive experience, and business knowledge to make sound decisions.
RN BS with active Missouri license, BS or MS in nursing preferred.
Preferred
Creates an integrated care environment that is efficient, safe, and cost effective.
Capable of performing general procedural nursing duties.
Extensive experience working in the fast-paced metropolitan hospital environment.
Ability to recognize signs and symptoms of pain and to obtain and follow orders to medicate patients.
years demonstrated progressivly responsible experience in supervising, preferably disease management and clinical care coordination services. Public sector and Medicaid experience required.
