Contract Risk Capability Owner 
Effective contract risk vision exists and is transparent to appropriate Flint Hills Resources representatives; 
Decision rights are clear and those with decision rights have appropriate knowledge to make effective decisions;
Appropriate knowledge systems and tools exist to understand profitability of contract risk decisions and ensure decisions are based on sound reward / risk thinking;   
Effective contract risk execution capability developed and maintained;   
Determine optimal centralized versus decentralized approach;
Ensure Legal, Operations and Procurement roles are clear and the appropriate personnel are involved.  Role, Responsibilities & Expectations are clear with respect to involvement in contract risk process;
Leverage collaboration opportunities with other Koch companies to capture economy-of-scale benefits. 

OCIP Capability Owner 
Own Flint Hills Resources Owner-Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) including profitability; 
Owner-Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) vision is understood by all involved Flint Hills Resources personnel; 
Appropriate knowledge systems and tools exist to understand OCIP profitability and guide contractor enrollment decisions; 
Legal, Operations and Procurement are appropriately involved and Role, Responsibilities & Expectations are clear with respect to involvement in OCIP program utilization / management; 
OCIP strategy is adjusted as needed to maximize reward vs. risk; 
Koch, Inc. and Koch Business Solutions resources are appropriately leveraged where they can add value to OCIP procurement / management; 
Effective systems exist to appropriately document contractor participation in OCIP (including appropriate contract revisions for OCIP inclusion and/or exclusion).

Insurance Owner  
Flint Hills Resources insurance programs are consistent with Koch, Inc. insurance philosophy and provide appropriate protection for potential catastrophic events;  
Leverage participation in consolidated insurance programs where economy-of-scale benefits can be realized;   
Knowledge systems in place to monitor profitability of insurance strategies / bets (including competitive advantage of Flint Hills Resources insurance philosophy versus peers);   
DMF’s developed and recommendations made to Flint Hills Resources Finance Committee on insurance decisions (consistent with decision rights).  Where appropriate, the DMF’s should address Flint Hills Resources stand-alone programs versus participation in Koch, Inc. consolidated insurance programs;  
Data / information provided to Koch Business Solutions / Koch, Inc. where Flint Hills Resources is participating in consolidated insurance programs;  
Flint Hills Resources risks and risk management strategies are effectively articulated to insurers to enhance insurer comfort level with risk and support obtaining most favorable terms available from insurance market.




Experience Required
Five or more years professional experience in insurance and/or contract risk management or project engineering. 

Experience Preferred
Prior leadership experience preferred 

Education Required
B.A. in Business/accounting/ insurance or engineering from an accredited school

Other
Job will require approximately 25-35% percent travel. (ARM) Associate in Risk Management a plus.
