Looking to join a fun and exciting opportunity with Harley-Davidson?  Alamo City/Gruene/Javelina Harley-Davidson is currently hiring passionate, customer service-oreinted Apparel & General Merchandise Sales Associates and/or cashiers.

As a member of the Harley-Davidson family, you'll interact with customers in all phases of the Harley-Davidson "emotional jouney" and lifestyle.  Everything in our dealership(s), especially motorclothes and accessories, is there to help customers better enjoy that emotional journey.

Our General Merchandise Sales Associates help enthusiasts express their connections to the brand by understanding where customers are on the journey, offering ideas that coincide with where they are on the journey and provide the best experience to customers no matter where they are on the journey. 

The essential job duties and qualifications are as follows:

Provide excellent customer service and sales to assist customers with purchase of merchandise.  Have the ability to handle telephone transactions quickly and courteously.  Accept cash & credit payments for purchases while keeping register accurate.  Provide prompt and accurate service while demonstrating our committment to excellence in customer service.  Assist with set-up, organization and staging of special events and promotions.  Create well-organized presentations and displays that appeal to customers.  Attend training sessions to keep current with merchandise and inventory control issues.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily.  We prefer 1-2 years of retail sales or general merchandising experience; experience with point-of-sales computer inventory systems or ability to quickly learn; computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, strong work ethic, and always maintaining a professional appearance.
